2002 Range Rover P38 Westminster diesel automatic in Cambridge, Gloucestershire for sale

This is a relatively rare production line car as only 200 Westminster’s were produced, of which only 50 were diesels. I believe this to be one of the last that were sold as it was sold after the L322 went on sale in March 2002. It is still original with original handbooks etc and complete with working SATNAV. It has been in daily use for my ownership in the last three years and is currently sitting on my drive [near Cambridge] as I have now changed to another car. No expense has been spared to keep it roadworthy and it has been serviced on or around every 6000 miles in that time. It is currently on 139k mileage. I have two keys for it. I have copies of all servicing and repair bills which will be copied to keep with the car if required. I also have some previous owner bills, but these are rather sketchy. There are some entries in the servicing book as well. It has an MOT until December 2015. It is in very good condition for its age. However, it does have some bad points that I know about:- • The suspension doesn’t freeze when doors are opened; this is overcome by removing EAS fuse. • The front seat heaters do not work. • There is a bearing hum from the front o/s wheel. A sample of repair items in the last 3 years is as follows:- • ABS and EAS relays replaced • ABS ECU replaced • New intercooler hoses. • Heater fan and a/c control unit replaced • Virtually all steering components replaced, including pump and steering box • New radiator • New windscreen • Gearbox oil cooler and pipes – twice! • Steering damper replaced – twice! • New water pump • New bottom crankshaft pulley & viscous fan assembly • EAS compressor and valve block replaced • Some air springs replaced plus all shock absorbers • New exhaust to rear [twin pipes] • New alternator • New battery • New tyres [Pirelli Scorpion] • New n/s front hub assembly • New air con condenser radiator & fans • Headlining replaced. It’s not a performance car, more a steady and sedate type of car, but rides very well. I did have the engine re-mapped which made a noticeable difference, but only over 2000 rpm.
