I'm a mature, experienced and professional academic language teacher with a extensive background in the Cambridge ESOL exams (IELTS, FCE, CAE, CPE) and general English. I also have experience of EAP/ESP (English for Academic/Specific Purposes) and designing language courses and running language schools. The classes I hold are fun and I make sure that each person I help enjoys the time studying together - confidence in English is so important when learning to do something new and perhaps challenging! Focusing on all areas of language from speaking and pronunciation, through to grammar and writing. Prices: - £20.00/hour for general English classes. - £20.00/hour for exam-focused classes such as IELTS, FCE, CAE and CPE. - up to £25.00 for more specific language areas such for business and sciences as the resources I provide are more. - Prices are per person - if you'd like to study as a group then these prices are lower per person. - For proofreading, please contact me as there are two ways to charge, either based on words (for smaller projects) and per hour (for much larger projects). The first class for any kind of language help is always free and lasts for 1 hr 30 min (or longer if you have more questions!) This is the most important time as it will give you the chance to make sure you're comfortable with the classes. It will allow me to assess language ability within all the areas such as reading, writing, grammar, fluency, talk about the study habits you have, make suggestions, and allow you to ask any questions. With 12 years experience in writing English material, teaching elementary, intermediate and advanced students from all over Europe and Asia. I can help you with: - general, academic, and business English - vocabulary (spelling, accuracy, development) - grammar (elementary, intermediate and advanced) - writing (emails, letters, essays, writing tasks 1 & 2 for exams) - reading (speed, organisation, accuracy) - speaking (pronunciation, fluency, day to day, examination questions) - listening (accuracy, fluency) Lessons are in a warm, safe, and public location for either 1 hour, 1.5 hours, or 2 hours.
